Books about the Himalayan region, Central Asia and Buddhism.
We have been studying the culture of the Himalayan countries for more than 40 years and have been able to travel to some of them. We have a very large selection of antiquarian and second-hand books on all aspects of the area.
Himalayan Countries
We offer a comprehensive range of books on Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan and the other regions of the Himalayas. You will find scientific books, rare antiquarian books and simply beautiful books about the area.
Central Asia
We offer books on Central Asia, especially on art and culture, as well as the history of discovery. Early Buddhist art is just as much a focus of our offer as the exchange of ideas between the regions and cultures.
Buddhism
We also offer books on all schools of Buddhism.
Asia
We also have a wide range of books on other Asian countries, such as China, India, Afghanistan, Myanmar and Thailand, to name but a few.
Bloomsbury
A particular area of interest outside Asia is the Bloomsbury Group. Literature by and about Virginia Woolf, Vanessa Bell, John Maynard Keynes and their families and friends.
Art and Antiques
We have been involved with the culture of the Himalayan countries for more than 40 years. During this time we have also been able to acquire art and antiques from these countries from time to time, which we would like to share with you.
